FAQ
1. Shipping
How will my order be sent?
All orders are shipped from the Czech Republic, Europe, via international post as insured, signed-for packages. A tracking code will be included in your shipping notification, which you can use to track your parcel on your local postal service website (USPS, Royal Mail, La Poste, Deutsche Post, etc.). Most local postal services track international shipments (like the ones mentioned above), but please be aware that some don't.
Parcels will need to be signed for on delivery. If there isn't anyone at your address who can accept and sign for the parcel, a note will be left for you to pick it up at your local post office. In this case, please make note of the cut-off pick-up date, to ensure the parcel isn't send back to the sender.
Shipping costs are calculated at the checkout based on number of items, weight and your location. Simply add the items you're interested in to your cart, proceed to the checkout, add your address and the exact costs will be calculated for you.
How long will it take before you send my order off?
Jewellery & mobiles: most items are made to order, so please allow a week before your purchase is sent off to you.
Ceramics: most items are ready to ship, so please allow a couple of days before your purchase is sent off to you.
How long does shipping take?
Estimated shipping times are:
- 2-3 days within the Czech Republic
- 1-2 weeks to EU countries
- 2 weeks to the UK, US & Canada
- 2-3 weeks for other international orders
Will I be charged any taxes on delivery?
If you're based in the European Union, you won't be charged anything.
If you're based in the UK, US or rest of the world, your shipment may be subject to duties and import VAT.

3. Jewellery information & care
Will my silver jewellery tarnish over time?
Silver does inevitably tarnish slightly over time when exposed to moisture and air. To keep your jewellery bright and shiny for as long as possible, please keep it in its original packaging, especially when travelling. Keep all pieces away from water and moisture, out of the bathroom, and apply perfume before putting your jewellery on. Use a silver polishing cloth to keep it shining, or feel free to get in touch if you'd like your piece cleaned and polished.
How should I take care of my leather jewellery?
Leather can get damaged or wear faster when in contact with other objects, so please keep it in its original packaging, especially when travelling. Keep all pieces away from water and moisture, out of the bathroom, and apply perfume before putting your jewellery on. Cowskin leather will keep its shine over time, and you can use a dry cloth to lightly polish and keep it shining, from time to time. Note that the leather will naturally wear, revealing the lovely texture of the skin.
Do you do repairs?
If your jewellery gets damaged or breaks, feel free to get in touch and I will do my best to repair it, usually free of charge.
4. Ceramics information & care
Are your vases watertight?
Yes, all ceramic objects that are described as vases are fully watertight.
How long do your ceramic objects last?
In short: longer than a lifetime (at least!), as long as you don't drop and break it. The longer story: all of my ceramic work is fired twice at very high temperature. In the firing process, raw clay is turned into ceramic through high-temperature heating, during which the water content of the clay is driven out and the particles in the clay move closer together, resulting in a dense, long-lasting and watertight piece.
5. Mobiles information & care
How to hang a mobile?
Each mobile is supplied with an adhesive, transparent plastic ceiling hook, meaning you won't need to drill into the ceiling. Note that you could also hang your mobile from a shelf or an alcove.
- Step 1: Unwrap your mobile, laying it out on a flat surface, being careful not to tangle the different parts together.
- Step 2: Find the perfect spot to hang your mobile, where it can rotate freely, without obstruction.
- Step 3: Ensure the surface from which the mobile will hang is clean and free of dust. Affix the adhesive strip to the ceiling, and the plastic hook to the adhesive strip.
- Step 4: Your mobile comes with a little brass hook attached to a long piece of string. Tie the string to the ceiling hook, adjusting it to the height you'd like the mobile to hang from - with the brass hook hanging down.
- Step 5: Carefully pick up your mobile from its top axis, and slip the top little ring onto the brass hook. Sit back and enjoy its ever-changing composition!
Will the brass tarnish over time?
The brass shapes and brass tubing have been polished and coated in a protective wax for durability. If your mobile is kept out of reach and isn't handled too much, the brass should keep its warm golden colour for years. However, it could start to reveal a slight patina in the longer term.
Can I display my mobile outside?
Please only hang your mobile up indoors, well away from water and humidity.
Please note
Keep your mobile out of reach of little hands and heads, and don't hang your mobile directly above a baby or child's bed. Oscille mobiles aren't toys (unfortunately!) and some designs have sharp edges.
6. Commissions
Do you accept commission work?
Ceramics: Yes, I gladly accepts commissions, feel free to get in touch with a short description of your idea and timeframe.
Jewellery: I'm more than happy to discuss creating custom jewellery pieces for you or your loved one, please get in touch with your idea, and we can discuss further.
What about the items that are marked as 'sold out' on your website?
If you've spotted something you like that's marked as sold out, feel free to ask whether it's possible for me to make that particular piece again, for you.
7. Wholesale
Do you accept wholesale orders?
Sometimes, depending on the time of the year! If you're interested in stocking my products, please get in touch with details of your business and an idea of the quantities you'd like to order.
